About 150 East Liberty StreetLiberty Place

Located at 150 East Liberty Street, Liberty Place is a desirable 32 storey tower in the Liberty Village neighbourhood. This property does come with some unfortunate side effects, including: unexpected drop ins from friends and family, an intense desire to try every craft beer, and a devastating addiction to freshly brewed espressos.

If you can deal with the unintended consequences of living in such a desirable area, then you get some great amenities to go along with your new condo — fitness centre, sauna, games room, party room, meeting room, media room, business centre, visitor lounge, security guard, concierge, and parking garage.

Liberty Place was built in 2014 — so investors won’t get as much return on sweat equity as they might from other Toronto condos for sale in older buildings. Liberty Village definitely has a youthful vibe, and as such, these condos are well suited to young professionals and couples; in truth, a wide array of buyers will be drawn to these units, but given how in demand condos in Liberty Village are, prices here might be too high for first time buyers, and the neighbourhood might be too busy for empty nesters.

    The Suites

So, you want to live in Liberty Village? And really, why wouldn’t you? Liberty Place is home to 466 units, all of which follow open concept layouts and are filled with natural light. Suites are available in studio, 1 bedroom, 1 bedroom + den, 2 bedroom, and 2 bedroom + den; sizes range from 350 square feet to 2695.

Regardless of the unit you choose, you’ll enjoy desirable finishes — upgraded kitchens with stainless steel appliances and granite countertops, hardwood floors, floor to ceiling windows, nine foot ceilings, and private balconies.

As great as these units are, the Belle of the ball for this building is the location itself; as a resident of 150 East Liberty Street, you’re in the heart of one of the most exciting neighbourhoods in the city; King West, Queen West, and more. Whether it’s cozy cafes, trendy bars, palate pleasing restaurants, or just convenience that you crave, you’ll find it here in spades.

    The Neighbourhood

We can’t all be morning people, and for some, an eye opening espresso is the only thing that gets the day going; if you fall into that category then fear not, you have options here. Step out your front door and you’re minutes form Ciao Europa Café, Balzac's Liberty Village, Liberty Village Market & Café, Louie Craft Coffee, and Tim Horton’s.

For dining out, you won’t need to stray far from home either; there’s Maurya East Indian Roti just next door, walk a few blocks west and you have Paramount Fine Foods, Williams Landing, Kibo Sushi House, Hero Certified Burgers, Athletes Kitchen, and more. And if that doesn’t cut it, you can continue west or head east on King Street for a plethora of great restaurants.

Craft beer is all these rage these days, and Liberty Village is overflowing with it; you can check out brewpubs like Liberty Commons at Big Rock Brewery and 3 Brewers Liberty. Or hit up neighbourhood bars for a diverse selection of beers and cocktails such as Local Liberty Village and Brazen Head Irish Pub. For more, you can head to King West for — you guessed it, more brewpubs and trendy bars.

It must be stated, that there’s more to Liberty Village than coffee, alcohol, and food — not that there’s anything wrong with that. One of the best aspects of living in this neighbourhood is how close you are to the Entertainment District and Exhibition Place. You can catch a Jays game at the Rogers Centre, ascend to dizzying heights at the CN Tower, find Nemo at Ripley’s Aquarium of Canada, watch stand up comedy or concerts, or check out dozens of restaurants and bars.

Nature lovers have quick access to expansive green spaces like Garrison Common — you can learn some history while you’re there — Coronation Park, waterfront parks, and lakeside walking trails.

    Transportation

150 East Liberty Street has an 84 Walk Score, and residents of this building should have no trouble running errands on foot; there’s a Metro less than a 5 minute walk from your front door, so even grocery runs can be done on foot.

Public transit riders have bus service right outside their front door, and east and westbound streetcars nearby on King. Exhibition Station is within walking distance for GO Transit, and streetcars on King can take you to St. Andrew Stations for subway lines.

Car owners can scoot their way around city traffic by travelling south on Strachan Avenue and onto Lake Shore Blvd for the Gardiner Expressway.
